Job Title: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to support a student with Special Educational Needs in one of our Warrington schools.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have experience working with children who have SEN needs and will be responsible for ensuring that the curriculum and learning is accessible for this student.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored one-to-one support to the student
  • Ensure that the student can reach their potential
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Support the student in developing life skills and promoting independence
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Have experience working with children who have SEN needs
  • Have experience with challenging behaviour
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service, or be prepared to undertake a new disclosure
  • Be able to provide a minimum of 2 references, covering the last 2 years, including your most recent education reference
  • Have a full and complete 10-year career history
