We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Executive to join our team at Mitchell Maguire. As a Technical Sales Executive, you will be responsible for selling a range of timber and building materials to contractors, housebuilders, developers, and trade customers.
Key Responsibilities- Selling timber and building materials, including hardwoods, softwoods, MDF, cladding, decking, fencing, sleepers, and I-joists
- Generating floor plans for customers using the Finnjoist system
- Providing technical advice and guidance to customers throughout the design process
- Assisting the truss designer with truss design
- Processing orders and making cold calls to generate new business
- Developing and maintaining a strong customer base
- Technical experience with timber or sheet materials, ideally I-Joists
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Driven, enthusiastic, and self-motivated individual
- Computer literate with Microsoft Office skills
