Job Summary:

As a key member of the team, you will provide financial support and guidance to a diverse portfolio of budget holders across the university.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with finance and non-finance managers to provide financial analysis and strategic planning support.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with budget holders to ensure alignment with corporate financial strategies.
  • Contribute to the development of financial plans and budgets, and provide operational delivery support.
  • Work closely with the Finance Business Partner to provide financial guidance and support to budget holders.

Requirements:

  • Professional accountancy body membership (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent) or working towards it.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and interpret financial data.
