About the Role

Hawksworth UK is seeking a highly skilled Senior Pricing Analyst to join their Technical Home pricing team in a leading Insurance firm. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in planning and delivering models and analysis that underpin the prices we take to market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning techniques to inform pricing decisions
  • Work with large data sources to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in pricing and actuarial science
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of statistical modeling methods, including GLMs and machine learning techniques, such as GBMs
  • Proven experience working with large data sources and coding languages, such as Python, SQL, and SAS
  • Familiarity with Willis Towers Watson software, such as Radar or Emblem
  • Good understanding of the various elements of a Technical Price, including business expenses, other costs, and actuarial/inflation assumptions
  • General Insurance experience
