About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Swimming Teacher to join our team at Exe Valley, Tiverton. As a Swimming Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality swimming lessons to pupils of all ages and abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach/coach all pupils on the programme to the standards set out by MDDC.
  • Manage classes effectively and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist in the efficient operation of the facility as designated by the Swimming Lesson Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with current codes of practice, MDDC, the Health and Safety at Work Act, Data Protection Act, Child Protection, and all standard operating and emergency procedures.
Requirements
  • STA Level 2 Award or Certificate, or ASA Swimming Teacher Level 2.
  • Strong communication skills and a team player attitude.
  • Commitment to personal development and continuous improvement.
  • Previous teaching experience is desirable but not essential.
