The E-commerce Manager is a pivotal role at Propaganda Agency Ltd, responsible for driving the company's e-commerce strategy and operations. This role encompasses three key pillars:

Main Responsibilities:

  • Primary function - Fulfill the role of e-commerce manager for clients, delivering all necessary deliverables and responsibilities.
  • Secondary function - Manage digital projects, ensuring smooth execution, on-time delivery, and within budget.
  • Tertiary function - Conduct audits, develop strategic recommendations, and deliver digital strategies that achieve client objectives.

Accountability:

As E-commerce Manager, you will be accountable for the trading performance and profitable growth of clients' e-commerce channels. You will also be responsible for ensuring digital projects run efficiently, on time, and within budget, while supporting the development team and acting as a conduit between them and the client services team.

Deliverables:

  • Develop and implement strategic e-commerce plans for clients, including annual strategies and day-to-day trading plans.
  • Coordinate internal teams to deploy cross-channel campaigns.
  • Manage the day-to-day maintenance of websites, including banner and content changes, visual merchandising, product and offer setup, and optimization.
  • Identify, brief, and test web development tasks to deliver new features and functionality and optimize website performance.
  • Produce e-commerce channel P&L reports and analyze Google Analytics data to inform strategy.
  • Proactively identify digital opportunities and develop strategic recommendations.
  • Produce daily trading reports and monthly performance reports.
  • Conduct weekly competitor audits.
  • Ensure web design and build projects run smoothly, efficiently, on budget, and on time.
  • Policing and enforcing the Development Workflow Process.
  • Support the development team and act as a conduit between them and the client services team on development projects.
  • Audit clients' digital operations to conduct SWOT analyses and develop strategic recommendations.

Key Skills:

  • Search, display advertising, social media, and affiliate marketing.
  • Experience with website design and build processes, including open-source platforms like Shopify and WordPress.
  • Experience with social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for business purposes.
  • Excellent writing and language skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to achieve results.
  • Numerate and comfortable with data manipulation using Microsoft Excel.
  • Able to forward-plan and prioritize workload based on business requirements.
  • Great communication and people skills, with the ability to present and convince clients.
  • Proactive and adept at using initiative to solve problems.
  • Familiar with the digital industry, including new product updates, trends, and technological advances.
  • Able to understand client needs and adapt approach to meet expectations.
  • Open to challenge and willing to collaborate with the wider account team.
