Job Description: Waste Collection Driver - Class 2

We are currently seeking experienced HGV Class 2 Refuse Drivers to join our team. You will be responsible for collecting waste materials from residential and commercial properties using rear-end loaders and Romaquip Recycling vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a HGV Class 2 vehicle equipped with a rear-end loader or Romaquip Recycling system.
  • Collect waste materials from designated locations, ensuring proper sorting and disposal procedures are followed.
  • Assist with loading recycling bins as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of waste collected and disposed of.
  • Adhere to all relevant traffic regulations and safety guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Valid UK Class 2 / Category C Licence with a maximum of 6 penalty points.
  • Current and valid CPC and digital tachograph card.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of driving rules and regulations.
  • Clean and professional appearance at all times.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
