Liverpool City Council Passenger Assistant

At Liverpool in Work, we are seeking a dedicated and caring Passenger Assistant to join our team. As a Passenger Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and comfortable transportation of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise children and young people on home to school transport and escort them on walking routes or buses to their educational settings.
- Assist passengers into and out of the vehicle, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Conduct vehicle checks at the end of each journey to ensure all passengers have left the vehicle and no belongings have been left behind.
- Liaise with parents, schools, and other stakeholders to ensure an efficient and effective service is provided.
- Adhere to health and safety policies and regulations, promoting equality and diversity in all interactions.
- Ability to pass an Enhanced DBS Check and provide Right to Work documents.
- Availability to work two shifts per day, including school term times.
- Willingness to participate in training courses during school holidays or outside normal working hours.
