Principal Machine Learning Architect

VANRATH is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a cutting-edge AI company for the position of Principal Machine Learning Architect. This is an exciting opportunity to join a new entrant in the financial services sector, helping them scale their innovative solutions.

As Principal Machine Learning Architect, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced machine learning models, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of AI within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and scalability of machine learning architectures aligned with strategic goals.
  • Oversee the deployment and optimization of ML models for performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop ML solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Mentor and guide a team of data scientists and machine learning engineers, promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Ensure systems are aligned with compliance and ethical standards while leveraging the latest in machine learning advancements.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Deep expertise in machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
  • Strong programming experience in Python and Java/Kotlin.
  • Experience with deploying ML models in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Demonstrated leadership in the development and deployment of large-scale ML systems.
  • Proficiency with data pipelines, ETL, and big data technologies.
  • Experience in the financial services industry.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), and GenAI.
  • Familiarity with MLOps and continuous deployment for machine learning.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or publications in the ML/AI space.
