Overview of Responsibilities:

The Senior Storage Engineer will play a crucial role in assisting the lead storage engineer in the management and upkeep of our storage and backup systems, both on-premises and in cloud environments. This position is essential for ensuring the operational efficiency, functionality, and reliability of our storage and backup solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the establishment of backup and recovery protocols for all production systems.
  • Configure and manage storage arrays effectively.
  • Implement backup and recovery processes while maintaining data integrity.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to NAS and SAN storage solutions and backup systems.
  • Monitor storage and backup performance, resource utilization, and system logs to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Perform general system administration tasks for backup systems and storage solutions.
  • Act as a technical resource on assigned projects, including testing and response initiatives.

Educational Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field is required.
