Job Overview
We are looking for an Inventory Management Specialist to enhance our Warehouse operations. In this role, you will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of stock within the facility. Your attention to detail and strong analytical skills will be essential, along with your prior experience in inventory management and familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Effective communication, collaboration, and a proactive approach are vital for success in this position.
Work Schedule: 5 from 7 Nights (22:00 - 06:00)
Compensation: £26,191.62 plus £2,000 night shift allowance
As the chosen candidate, you will play a significant role in the overall efficiency of the warehouse and will report directly to the Stock & Systems Manager.
Key Responsibilities of an Inventory Management Specialist include:
Collaborate with Management and Operational teams to ensure the precision of incoming and outgoing shipments, making necessary adjustments as required. Work alongside the Receipt and Dispatch Team to manage the problem pallet area effectively. Ensure accurate updates to pickfaces to uphold stock integrity, completing all necessary checks beforehand. Oversee the Hold and Release process. Provide stock traceability information as needed for various reasons, including recalls. Conduct thorough investigations and accurately report all short shipments. Complete daily and weekly reporting as required. Address multi-client and multi-customer inquiries. Assist Stock Management with various investigations. Undertake additional responsibilities such as handovers, missing pallet investigations, damage control, and handling queries.Required Qualifications
The ideal Inventory Management Specialist will possess the following skills, experience, and qualifications:
Proven experience in inventory management. Flexibility to cover various functions within the stock department. Strong attention to detail. Ability to manage time effectively to meet daily targets. A team player who can also work independently. Comprehensive knowledge of on-site systems. Excellent communication abilities. Capability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong investigative and problem-solving skills. Adaptability in work approach and shift patterns. Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.Additional Information
