Job Summary:

Thorn Baker Industrial is seeking a skilled Counterbalance Driver to join their team at a busy concrete plant in Alfreton. As a Counterbalance Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of heavy products within the production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely maneuvering heavy products around the production area
  • Loading, unloading, and moving large concrete products
  • Ensuring all health and safety site requirements are met
  • Assisting with the mixing and pouring of concrete into molds, and stripping finished concrete products out of their molds/casts

Requirements:

  • Must have an external Counterbalance license in date or refreshed within the last 3 years
  • Previous concrete experience is highly advantageous
  • Comfortable with physically demanding work
  • Looking for a long-term opportunity

Working Hours and Pay:

  • Monday to Friday, 48 hour working week between 6.00am – 4:30pm
  • £12.34 per hour + overtime
