Senior Site Manager Opportunity

Award-winning Main Contractor seeks an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead a £10m office/research building project in Bedford.

The successful candidate will oversee the construction of a 50-week scheme, featuring laboratory space, clean rooms, office rooms, steel frame, curtain walling, and M&E systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the construction team to deliver the project on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Manage relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and supervise the installation of M&E systems, steel frame, curtain walling, and other construction elements.
  • Monitor and control project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager or equivalent role.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
