About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our dynamic Chef team at Change Hospitality. As a Senior Sous Chef, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the high standards of kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency in every dish served.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Chef to showcase their skills in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while working alongside a dedicated team of professionals both front and back of house.

We are looking for a Senior Sous Chef who is capable of managing the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence, ensuring seamless service and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu development, recipe creation, and food cost management.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating, to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimise waste and optimise profitability.
  • Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate creativity and innovation in culinary techniques and presentation.
About You
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume, quality-driven restaurant environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Thorough knowledge of cookery techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • A passion for food and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
