Senior Social Services Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Senior/Supervising Social Worker to join our team at Polaris Community on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support foster parents to ensure exceptional outcomes for children in care
- Monitor and support the competence of foster parents
- Provide comprehensive supervision to foster parents
- Participate in 'out of hours' support service on a rota basis
- Undertake initial home visits and Form F Assessments
Requirements:
- Social Work qualification
- Registration with Social Work England or equivalent
- Proficient in report writing
- Good understanding of relevant legislation and child safeguarding procedures
- Willingness to travel extensively
- Confidence in transporting children in challenging situations
- Valid driving licence
