We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our Mid-Market Portfolio Steering team at Allianz (UK) Limited. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in providing strategic insights and data-driven recommendations to support the profitable management of our Commercial Motor and Motor Trade lines of business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain complex data sets and reports to support business decision-making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven projects and initiatives
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders to inform business strategy
  • Work closely with the Underwriting Account teams, Pricing, Data, Claims, and Actuarial teams to provide data-driven support
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging data needs to inform data strategy
Requirements
  • Strong background in data analysis and management information reporting
  • Excellent knowledge of SAS Enterprise Guide or SQL
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Experience with visualisation tools such as MicroStrategy, Qlik Sense, or Power BI
  • Ability to prepare reports with a high attention to detail
  • Makes consistently sound decisions in own area of expertise or responsibility and refers when appropriate
  • Able to use initiative and approach challenges innovatively
  • Strong interpersonal skills including excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to establish and maintain credible internal and external relationships with key stakeholders
