Key Responsibilities

As a Finance Strategy Partner, you will operate within the technology finance team supporting Digital X. You will furnish business insights and market intelligence to assist the leadership team in making critical product, cost, and investment-related decisions while also aiding them in the execution and realization of the bank's digital and engineering strategy.

Additionally, you will:

  • Evaluate the impact of financial regulatory changes on products and services
  • Conduct investment tracking and forecasting assessments
  • Employ data and analytical reasoning to address strategic challenges using the latest tools and methodologies
  • Collaborate with our Finance Centre of Excellence to deliver specific financial plans, forecasts, stress testing, and customer, market, or segment analyses
  • Review and critically assess the resource utilization presented in investment decisions and business cases

Required Skills

To excel in this position, you will need strong stakeholder management abilities and the capacity to communicate, influence, and resolve conflicts. In addition to planning and organizational skills, you must be adept at navigating ambiguity, uncertainty, and risk while thriving in a flexible environment.

You will also require:

  • Proficient data analysis and modeling capabilities
  • The skill to convey complex financial information succinctly and in a non-technical manner
  • The ability to create and evaluate plans, forecasts, models, and stress scenarios
  • Strategic insight and the capability to apply business knowledge, expertise, and challenge to support the organization
  • Solid finance functional knowledge, accounting expertise, and understanding of product areas and market segments
