Student Placement in Operations

Pirelli is a globally recognized leader in the production of high-performance tyres. As part of our UK operations, we are offering a 12-month internship within our Planning Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the department with administrative tasks, including monitoring reports related to container arrival schedules.
- Facilitate communication with suppliers and other Pirelli facilities to ensure all import/export documentation is accurately submitted to the Customs Agent via the Cudos System.
- Coordinate with various Pirelli factories and headquarters to manage intercompany material shipments.
- Generate purchase orders as necessary.
- Utilize software tools such as Excel and SAP extensively.
- Oversee a project related to work-based learning.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Strong administrative capabilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for regular interactions via phone and email.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Compensation: The salary for this position is £23,342 per annum.
