Reporting Structure
Reports to the Software Development Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate within a vibrant, innovative Agile team atmosphere and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of team processes
  • Facilitate initial design conversations, aiding in the refinement of requirements for the platform
  • Engage in daily stand-up meetings, planning sessions, retrospectives, and presentations
  • Deliver high-quality software artifacts to the i2O Water Platform, adhering to the team's definition of 'DONE'
  • Support team members in achieving their professional development objectives
  • Propose enhancements or extensions to functionalities as necessary
  • Aim to automate testing processes wherever feasible and integrate these tests within a comprehensive Continuous Integration (CI) framework
  • Be prepared for occasional out-of-hours work to fulfill specific project needs
  • Maintain strict confidentiality at all times
Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a computing or scientific/engineering field

Proficient Software Testing Skills:
  • Over 2 years of testing experience
  • Reviewing software specifications
  • Crafting and executing test scripts and plans
  • Reporting defects
  • Conducting web testing
  • Test automation expertise

Comprehensive Knowledge of Testing Methodologies:
  • Functional testing
  • Performance testing
  • Stress testing
  • Familiarity with various testing tools
