Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Production Team Supervisor to join our team at CV Library. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for supervising the production team and organizing labour to meet the daily and weekly production schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the relationship with agency labour providers, identifying labour needed to meet production plans and ensuring it is provided.
Liaise with other departments to ensure materials are available for production in a timely manner.
Maintain production records, including output, downtime, and stock movements.
Reconcile stocks at the end of works orders and close works orders.
Carry out routine quality checks and implement corrective actions.
Carry out machine changeovers and basic fault finding.
Manage equipment breakdowns and carry out simple repairs.
Complete routine maintenance tasks.
Carry out back to work interviews.
Carry out operator roles when required to cover breaks or unplanned absence.
Requirements:
Food manufacturing experience is essential.
Formal food safety training, minimum Level 2 food safety training, is required. HACCP experience is an advantage.
Good appreciation of health and safety requirements when working with automated machines and workplace vehicles is necessary.
Experience of machine setting, changeover, and troubleshooting is essential.
Engineering/technical skills/experience are essential.
Competent in the safe use of hand tools.
Good written communication and numeracy skills are required.
Good IT skills are necessary.
Basic Excel and Word capability is required.
Ability to work under pressure is essential.
Good eye for detail is necessary.
Flexible approach towards work is required.
Physically fit, with duties including lifting/moving products.
