Workshop Engineer Position Overview

Bennett and Game Recruitment are seeking a skilled Workshop Engineer to join their team in Dartford. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing a range of equipment, including generators, plant machinery, hydraulic breakers, and robotics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Servicing and repairing generators, plant machinery, hydraulic breakers, and robotics to ensure optimal performance.
  • Testing new machines and tooling to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Performing routine maintenance and providing customer support.
  • Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing faults in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Completing detailed job reports and maintaining accurate service records.
  • Communicating effectively with customers regarding equipment issues and repairs.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a workshop or maintenance environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems, including troubleshooting and repair techniques.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence, as regular travel to client sites may be required.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary: £35,000- £40,000 per annum.
  • Working hours: 6:30am- 5pm, Monday to Friday.
  • Holiday package: 20 days + 8 bank holidays.
  • Company vehicle and fuel card provided.
  • Overtime available, subject to business needs.
  • Pension scheme available.
