We are currently looking for a dedicated Manager of Referrals and Placements. This is a permanent, full-time role that encompasses all our locations.
The Manager of Referrals and Placements will spearhead and take charge of business development strategies to ensure PJ Care maintains optimal bed occupancy through a structured and effective sales approach aligned with our corporate strategy.
The ideal candidate will embody the PJ Care values of Care, Compassion, and Commitment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the referral process as part of business development, ensuring prompt and effective assessments are conducted, and that all contractual and financial prerequisites are established prior to admissions.
- Ensure that business strategies, development processes, and sales targets are met.
- Manage the tendering process for services to secure successful bids.
- Establish and nurture beneficial relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, maintaining effective communication and collaboration.
- Develop new business connections with key stakeholders, particularly Personal Injury Lawyers and Brain Injury Case Managers.
- Collaborate with the broader PJ Care team to implement company strategies and identify new business opportunities.
- Achieve sales targets and report on key performance indicators to sustain occupancy levels at our neurological care centers.
- Serve as the primary contact for placement inquiries and referrals.
- Prepare and deliver tailored presentations as needed.
- Facilitate negotiations between PJ Care Ltd and care commissioning teams.
- Participate in referral meetings, ensuring relevant information is available for discussion.
- Assist in the preparation of sales reports for the Board and manage the weekly sales pipeline.
- Work with the Operational Board to align on key messages to effectively promote the business.
- Proactively seek and develop new opportunities.
- Maintain the CRM database and generate statistical reports as required by senior management.
- Ensure the sales process adheres to established quality standards.
- Promote PJ Care values and support the wider team in achieving these goals.
- Demonstrate a commitment to understanding neurological conditions and their impact on residents and families.
- Stay informed about competitors in the care sector.
- Participate in business functions, events, and meetings as a member of the Operational Board.
- Attend exhibitions and conferences for promotional purposes, which may require overnight stays.
- Perform other duties as reasonably requested.
- NMC Registered Nurse or HCPC Registered Healthcare Professional.
- A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience as a registered professional.
- Proven experience in managing referrals and placements.
