This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned Cardiac Physiologist to contribute to the innovative 'Team Ramsay' and enhance the elective cardiology offerings at Ramsay Health Care. The cardiac catheterization laboratory is set to undergo a significant upgrade, incorporating cutting-edge technology to expand service capabilities.
The cardiology department currently delivers a comprehensive array of outpatient consultations, diagnostic evaluations for both inpatients and outpatients, and our laboratory facilitates various procedures, including elective angiography, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), device implantation, cardioversion, and transoesophageal echocardiography. The upcoming refurbishment of the lab will enable the introduction of advanced PCI techniques, such as rotablation and shockwave therapy.
The ideal candidate will be a proficient cardiac physiologist, skilled in executing a complete spectrum of non-invasive and invasive assessments. The role requires the ability to operate both in the laboratory and in managing outpatient clinics, ideally focusing on echocardiography, treadmill testing, holter monitoring, and follow-ups for pacemakers, including implantable loop recorders, cardiac resynchronization therapy, implantable cardioverter-defibrillators, and bradycardia devices. Professional accreditation with BSE and/or HRUK/IBHRE is essential for this position. Applicants must demonstrate the capability to thrive under pressure and effectively lead a team while also being an integral part of it. Proven management experience, including overseeing staff, managing clinical operations, and facilitating communication across various disciplines, including consultants, is required. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development is expected.

Key Responsibilities
The Principal Cardiac Physiologist will oversee the daily operations of the Cardiology Service, addressing patient concerns, assisting non-clinical staff with appointment scheduling, managing capacity and demand, procuring supplies, and handling invoicing for high-cost consumables, as well as addressing queries from consultants and supporting clinical team members. Participate in delivering the technical invasive cardiology service and assist during the full range of cardiac procedures performed in both outpatient settings and the angiography suite.Benefits Offered
