Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is working with a prestigious Public Sector organisation in Shropshire to find a Financial Reporting & Taxation Assistant to support their team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct bank reconciliations for multiple banks and manage treasury operations.
- Support the Head of Financial Accounting with VAT and tax requirements, including preparation work and intercompany reconciliations.
- Manage the general ledger and fixed asset management.
- Assist with the preparation of VAT returns and other financial reports.
Requirements
This role is suitable for an AAT Qualified or recently started ACCA or equivalent level candidate who is looking to complete their ACCA Qualification. The ideal candidate will have experience in accountancy and general control account reconciliations, including bank, tax, and VAT, and be proficient in using financial systems.
