Position: Quality Inspector
Location: Nottingham
Compensation: £30,000 per annum
Metalis Engineering Recruitment Limited is collaborating with a prominent Aerospace firm in Nottingham, seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to enhance their operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting inspections throughout the manufacturing process and at the final stage
- Developing, managing, and reviewing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs)
- Verifying product conformity to specifications
- Performing visual inspections of components and parts according to technical drawings
- Utilizing hand measurement tools for precise evaluations
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Aerospace Quality Inspection
- Proficient in creating and interpreting FAIRs
- Familiarity with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs)
- Competent in using various measuring instruments
- Adept at reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Compensation & Work Schedule:
- £30,000 per annum
- Rotating 3 Shift Pattern - Days, Afternoons & Nights
