CORPORATE REAL ESTATE (CRE) at DHL GBS (UK) Limited is responsible for managing a portfolio of over 12,000 properties across all DHL business units worldwide. This portfolio spans more than 30 million square meters and is overseen by around 1,700 dedicated real estate experts globally. As our business continues to grow, we are seeking talented individuals to join our UKI region.

Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a full-time, permanent position that could be based anywhere in the UK region. This role offers a great opportunity to work for a leading logistics company and be part of a dynamic team.

Job Purpose:

The successful candidate will lead the analysis, evaluation, and management of HVAC solutions for new and existing building projects, overseeing global expert groups and contributing to procurement strategies and project planning.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Analyze HVAC solutions for new building projects and existing building portfolios independently.
  • Contribute to evaluating the feasibility, emissions, and economic efficiency of various solutions regarding divisional building use, available technologies, interfaces, and the current statutory framework.
  • Manage the global expert group for HVAC on a largely independent basis.
  • Support the development and testing of functional and technical HVAC specifications for different types of buildings and countries.
  • Support the conceptualization and planning of new strategically important building projects; cooperate with suppliers to create cost-effective solutions for new building and conversion projects.
  • Contribute to the management of relevant pilot projects and rollout programs.
  • Develop communications content on the above-mentioned topics.
  • Prepare presentations, conduct workshops, and represent the subject internally and externally.

Your Profile:

  • Degree in building services engineering, mechanical engineering, or similar, with a focus on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), sustainability, or equivalent qualification.
  • At least two years of relevant professional experience.
  • Excellent specialist knowledge and project management experience.
  • Business proficiency in English.
  • Self-assured, confident manner, particularly when dealing with top management and suppliers.
  • Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Very good communication skills, both spoken and written.
  • High level of flexibility and a very good team player.
  • Ability to work independently and de-centrally.
  • Integrity and loyalty.
  • Long-term, solution-oriented approach in a complex working environment.
