Mane Contract Services is seeking an experienced HSE Consultant to provide essential health, safety, and environmental guidance for a prominent turbine manufacturing project.
Location: United Kingdom
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday
Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract
Salary Range: £45,000 - £50,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive EHS Support: Deliver ongoing EHS assistance for project operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards.
- Training Initiatives: Facilitate regular training sessions for staff and contractors, focusing on best practices in health and safety.
- Site Inspections: Conduct routine evaluations and audits of work locations to identify and address potential safety risks, ensuring compliance with EHS protocols.
- Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients on EHS planning and project execution, addressing any concerns and providing detailed information to foster a culture of safety.
- Primary Contact: Act as the main point of contact for team members, offering guidance and support in navigating daily EHS challenges.
- Incident Response: Respond swiftly to any EHS incidents, performing thorough investigations and implementing corrective measures to prevent future occurrences.
- Record Keeping: Maintain precise documentation of EHS activities, incidents, and training sessions, and prepare detailed reports for the Site EHS Lead and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Relevant Educational Background
- 3-5 years of experience in an EHS role, ideally within the renewable energy and construction sectors.
- Strong understanding of EHS regulations and standards.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with employees, contractors, and clients.
- Certification in EHS management.
