We are seeking a dedicated and passionate tutor to work with vulnerable young people in Northampton. As a tutor, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons in core subjects and other subjects required by individual students.
About the Role- Work with a broad range of Local Authority Clients and independent provisions, including Virtual Schools, SEN teams, and specialist independent provisions.
- Support students with SEN such as SEMH, anxiety, Autism, and ADHD.
- Provide detailed, extensive feedback outlining student strengths and areas for development.
- Work professionally with foster carers and residential home staff.
- Experience in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
- Knowledge of SEN and experience working with students with SEMH, anxiety, Autism, and ADHD.
- Ability to manage challenging behavior and engage disaffected pupils.
- Competent in providing detailed feedback.
- Competitive pay rates inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
- Temporary position with potential for permanence.
- Free child protection and prevent duty training.
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check assistance.
