Academics Ltd is seeking a recent Psychology Graduate to join their team as a Behaviour Mentor. The successful candidate will work with vulnerable young people, providing support and guidance to help them overcome mental health challenges.

About the Role
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students, teachers, and other support staff to create a safe and supportive learning environment. You will use your knowledge of psychology and criminology to develop and implement strategies to promote positive behaviour and mental well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one support to students with mental health needs
  • Develop and implement behaviour plans to promote positive behaviour
  • Work with teachers and other support staff to create a supportive learning environment
  • Use your knowledge of psychology and criminology to inform your practice

Requirements
  • Recent Psychology Graduate with a strong understanding of psychology and criminology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with vulnerable young people
  • Knowledge of behaviour management strategies
