Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and placing orders for both contractual and non-contractual items utilizing MRP reports and manual requisitions.
  • Engaging in negotiations to secure competitive pricing and ensuring supplier information is accurately maintained within the MRP system.
  • Evaluating supplier performance, initiating improvement strategies, and ensuring optimal stock levels are sustained.
  • Modifying MRP settings to ensure timely availability and suitable batch sizes.
  • Assisting inventory management and production oversight with stock audits and facilitating workflow through the production process.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proficient experience with MRP/ERP/SAP or comparable systems.
  • Experience in processing and reviewing purchase orders while updating parts, supplier, and customer information.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
