Catering Unit Manager Job Description
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly organized and personable Catering Unit Manager to lead our on-site catering operation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a busy kitchen, producing high-quality food from fresh ingredients, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Manage a team of catering staff to deliver high-quality food and excellent customer service
* Plan and implement menus, ensuring nutritional value and customer satisfaction
* Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
* Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and supplies
* Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
**Requirements:**
* Experience in a similar catering environment, with a proven track record of success
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
* Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with a commitment to maintaining high standards
* Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and unsociable hours
