Job Responsibilities:
  • Lesson Planning: Design, prepare, and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons tailored for primary school students.
  • Student Assessment: Evaluate and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside colleagues and parents to foster a supportive learning environment.
  • Policy Implementation: Adhere to and implement school policies and procedures effectively.
  • Professional Development: Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Familiarity with the National Curriculum
Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field

Experience:

Prior experience in a primary school teaching role

Skills and Knowledge:
  • Strong classroom management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capability to differentiate instruction for diverse student needs
  • Proficiency in educational technology
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience with special educational needs (SEN) students
Working Environment:
  • Engage in a primary school setting
  • Full-time hours in a temporary capacity
  • Collaborative atmosphere with supportive colleagues

All pay rates mentioned include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with the potential for a permanent role in the future.
