About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Clinical/EBME Engineer to join our dynamic team in the EBME workshop. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and reliability in medical equipment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage the lifecycle of medical equipment, including inventory management and disposal.
  • Provide technical support to end-users on the operation and maintenance of medical equipment.
  • Investigate incidents related to medical equipment and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage and respond to field safety notices in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements
  • BTEC / ONC in Electronic Engineering/ Biomedical Engineering (Level 5) or Physical Science or an equivalent combination of qualifications and experience.
  • Experience of providing front line customer service.
  • Experience in using safety testers, calibration and other test equipment.
  • Experience of working with High Risk equipment.
  • Experience of working within a Quality Management System.
