Strategic Safeguarding Partnership Manager

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd, a leading recruitment agency, is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Safeguarding Partnership Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This exciting opportunity is based in Haringey and offers a competitive salary of up to £61,491 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement business plans in line with strategic safeguarding priorities, ensuring timely delivery of annual reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with government policies, guidance, and research to inform professional practice across agencies, ensuring safeguarding children and vulnerable adults in the borough is well-informed and up-to-date.
  • Coordinate statutory processes for learning reviews, Child and Death Reviews, ensuring compliance with statutory guidance and London Child Protection Procedures/Pan London Safeguarding Adults Procedures.
  • Establish and maintain processes to monitor procedure implementation and oversee inter-agency practice, contributing to current audit processes and setting standards in multi-agency safeguarding practice.
  • Provide regular, high-quality supervision and performance appraisal to staff, adhering to departmental and council policy and guidance.
  • Maintain a comprehensive overview of safeguarding issues and developments to inform local strategic plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Promote the Strategic Safeguarding Partnership and its work among partner agencies, private, voluntary, and independent sector organizations, community, and faith groups, and the public, through face-to-face meetings, presentations, and various media.
