Penguin Recruitment is seeking a Graduate Acoustic Consultant to join a reputable independent environmental consultancy. This role offers the chance to engage in a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting acoustic assessments and noise monitoring.
  • Analyzing data to provide clients with effective noise control recommendations.
  • Performing site visits to gather relevant information.
  • Collaborating with planning consultants, architects, engineers, and clients to devise efficient acoustic solutions.
  • Preparing detailed technical reports that outline findings and proposed solutions.

Requirements:
  • A relevant degree in Acoustics or a related field.
  • A valid UK driving license.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in conducting acoustic assessments is desirable.
  • Familiarity with acoustic modeling software such as CadnaA or Insul is a plus.
  • Membership in the Institute of Acoustics (IoA) is advantageous.
