We are seeking a skilled Pastry Chef de Partie to join our team at Alexander House Hotel & Utopia Spa. As a key member of our kitchen brigade, you will be responsible for creating high-quality pastries, desserts, and cakes for our restaurants, banqueting events, and afternoon tea guests.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Head Pastry Chef with ordering and stock control, menu design, and production of plated desserts to 2 & 3 Rosette standard.
- Supervise the pastry team to achieve consistent standards and contribute to the development of award-winning dishes.
- Manage the multi-menu requirements and banqueting operation, ensuring efficient stock control and quality menu items.
- Demonstrate flair and creativity to build on our successful afternoon tea menu and contribute to the future success of the kitchen brigade.
- Proven experience in a quality environment, with a track record of producing high-quality pastries and desserts.
- Ability to manage multiple menu requirements and banqueting operations.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise a team.
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of the kitchen brigade.
