Job Title: Gas Service Engineer

At Liberty, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Gas Service Engineer to join our team. As a Gas Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the servicing, repairing, and maintenance of domestic heating systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake the servicing, repairing, and maintenance of domestic heating systems in accordance with specification and gas safe regulations.
  • Complete all relevant paperwork and ensure customer satisfaction and safety.
  • Participate in out-of-hours works, including overtime and call-outs, and work to operational procedures, safe working practices, and H&S procedures.
  • Report all accidents, near-miss events, or potential hazards.
  • Undertake all other maintenance works within remit and work flexibly with a diverse range of customers.
Requirements:
  • Recognised formal training attaining the relevant craft qualification, NVQ Level 2/3, or equivalent.
  • ACS Qualifications CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT, and UNVENTED qualifications are desirable but not essential.
  • Understanding of gas legislation, full driving license, and understanding of Health and Safety and working to best practice.
  • Ability to manage own time and workload and experience of working with the public, demonstrating excellent customer service.
