Job Title: Maintenance Engineer - Heavy Vehicle

Finning International is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer - Heavy Vehicle to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and servicing of heavy equipment, including oil changes, filter replacements, and other scheduled tasks.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve equipment-related problems and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of equipment specifications, technical manuals, and industry best practices.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of heavy equipment systems, including engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve maintenance goals.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
