Job Description

**Job Overview**


We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our client, a major UK Water company, on a 6-month contract with potential extension. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a standard design template for Control Systems.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Design and develop control systems for water treatment plants and distribution networks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and standards.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience in electrical design engineering, preferably in the water industry.
  • Strong understanding of control systems and electrical systems design.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment (2 days in the office, 3 remote).
