We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Level Analog Mixed Signal Verification and Power Integrity Specialist to join our team at Microchip Technology, Inc.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and contributing to sub-system, chip level Analog Mixed Signal (AMS) and spice simulations for future generations of microcontrollers and wireless products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead/contribute sub-system, chip level AMS and spice simulations for SoCs.
  • Closely interact with SoC design, architect, and analog design teams.
  • Review and understand SoC specifications and requirements.
  • AMS and PI/SI simulations planning and review with SoC teams.
  • Lead/contribute development of AMS and PI/SI methodologies/flows.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor/Master's degree in EE or EC or equivalent with 15+ years of experience.
  • Experience with sub-system, chip level AMS and spice simulations.
  • Good understanding of analog IPs Buck, LDO, ADC/DAC, PLL, BG, etc.
  • Circuit simulation experience using Cadence, Questa ADMS, Spectre, HSPICE, or any equivalent tools.
  • Experience in debugging silicon issues.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a global team is essential.

Preferred:

  • Experience in spice simulations and circuit level debug is a plus.
  • Experience in chip level PI/SI simulations.
  • Experience with IO functionality, especially DDR is a plus.
  • Experience with scripting languages like PERL, SKILL, TCL or equivalent.
