Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at BAE Systems Platforms and Services sector, Weapon Systems (UK). As a key member of our Manufacturing Engineering team, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and manufacture of artillery systems, naval guns, and other engineering capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Convert Engineering Design intent into Manufacturing Engineering Data Packs (MDP) and Manufacturing Instructions (MI) for Operations use.
  • Identify development opportunities and areas for continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the management of Quality and SHE Systems for Manufacturing Engineering processes and documentation.
  • Build effective internal and cross-functional relationships to achieve Project requirements and support justifications/business cases.
  • Assist in the deployment of training & risk assessments associated with Manufacturing Engineering sub-discipline.
Requirements
  • HNC or equivalent, with experience of working in a Manufacturing Engineering role OR Foundation degree with some practical experience.
  • SAP, TeamCentre or similar PLM systems experience.
  • Knowledge of relevant Engineering & Manufacturing Engineering standards and SHE regulations.
