Job Type: Full-time

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (3 long days as part of a rolling roster)

Additional Information: The department operates 2 Philips Ingenia 1.5T MRI scanners and performs a wide variety of examinations incorporating neurological and musculoskeletal assessments.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRI Radiographer to join our team at the Cromwell Hospital in London. As a Senior MRI Radiographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI examinations, supervising the professional standards and operational management of rotating staff, and developing and maintaining staff rotas to ensure appropriate staff coverage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality MRI examinations as required by referring physicians, in line with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Supervise the professional standards and operational management of rotating staff and their training in the respective scanner.
  • Develop and maintain staff rotas to ensure appropriate staff coverage on the respective scanner.
  • Familiarize and observe the Local Rules pertaining to radiation protection (IRMER 2017) and the Ionising Radiations Regulations 1999.
Requirements:
  • BSc or DCR in Radiography (essential)
  • Substantial MRI experience (essential)
  • Demonstrable experience in Contrast MRI (essential)
  • Payment of Professional Registration fees.
