Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Lead Mechanical Engineer to become a vital part of our internal MEP self-delivery design and construction team.

Location: Bicester, Oxfordshire.

Employment Type:
Full-time, Permanent.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will oversee the successful execution of Mechanical Engineering tasks within various projects.

Your daily responsibilities will encompass:
  • Planning, procuring, and executing all tasks safely, adhering to company standards and UK regulations.
  • Reviewing and refining designs to ensure safe and efficient construction while implementing quality control measures to meet standards and contractual obligations.
  • Managing change control processes, assessing risks and opportunities, and providing precise updates on project timelines and financials.
  • Leading and mentoring your team, establishing clear expectations, and collaborating to achieve project objectives.
  • Promoting an inclusive, diverse, and supportive environment for your team members.

Candidate Profile:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
  • Previous experience as an Engineer with a robust technical understanding of Mechanical services and safety protocols.
  • Relevant certifications such as CSCS and SMSTS.
  • A proactive attitude towards learning and professional growth, consistently seeking development opportunities.
