Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Trader to join our team. As a Quantitative Trader, you will be responsible for undertaking quantitatively driven projects and overseeing the operational aspects of strategies running in production. This role requires continuous learning of new machine learning, statistical, and analytical skills to successfully undertake these analytical projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy Deployment: Deploy existing models and strategies to a wider set of products and exchanges.
  • Real-Time Monitoring: Actively monitor strategies and risk limits during market hours.
  • Pipeline Automation: Extend the automation pipeline for strategy deployment and post-trade analysis.
  • Performance Optimization: Track the performance of active strategies over days and tweak model parameters with minimal supervision.
  • Latency Improvement: Analyze latency performance of the strategy and work closely with the infrastructure development team to conceptualize, test, and deploy changes to improve latency performance.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the production reliability team for operational and performance issues during trading hours, optimize server setup based on strategy requirements and load, and deploy new releases of the infrastructure platform.
  • Data Requirements: Work closely with the data team for data requirements of existing or new strategies.

Requirements

  • Technical Background: Proficiency in Linux systems, Python-based analytics frameworks like pandas and numpy, and working knowledge of at least one pipelining/scheduling software (e.g., Airflow, HTCondor, Kubernetes).
  • Big Data Experience: Experience with big data, including understanding the structure of the data.
  • Business Requirements: Willingness to work as per business requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Financial Markets Experience: Prior experience in financial markets, including working with tick-by-tick data.
