About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Community Development Officer to join our team at The Wildlife Trust. As a key member of our community team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing community engagement strategies to promote our conservation work and engage local communities in our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement community engagement strategies to promote our conservation work and engage local communities in our mission.
- Work closely with our community team to develop and deliver community outreach programs and events.
- Build and maintain relationships with local community groups, organizations, and stakeholders to promote our work and engage their support.
- Contribute to the development of our community engagement strategy and ensure its effective implementation.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our community engagement activities and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in community development and engagement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
