About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Designer/CDM Advisor to join our project team at Currie & Brown Group Limited. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring project compliance with health and safety legislation, capturing and sharing knowledge across projects, and enhancing our culture of innovation.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction health and safety, with experience in delivering CDM/principal designer services to private and public sector clients on a mixture of projects. You will be responsible for complying with the responsibilities of the principal designer under the CDM Regulations 2015, informing and assisting clients in discharging their duties at each stage of the process, and establishing a record of principles and decisions taken in relation to health and safety in feasibility studies.

We are looking for a certified or incorporated member of the Association for Project Safety (CMaPS/IMaPS) with a recognised professional qualification in construction health and safety, such as a NEBOSH diploma or NEBOSH Construction Certificate. You will have excellent technical writing, client-facing, and communication skills, as well as the ability to self-organise and self-motivate.

As a team player with a 'can do' attitude, you will be outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful, and flexible. You will have a full driving licence and be able to represent the company in a professional and diligent manner, meeting, negotiating, and corresponding with clients to form strong working relationships.
