About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled PR and Events Manager to join our team at boohoo. As a key member of our marketing department, you'll be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive press strategy across all markets to generate positive media coverage and enhance brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a press strategy to generate positive media coverage and enhance brand awareness across key markets.
  • Plan and lead events, working closely with the Senior Event Executive on overall event strategy and execution.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media contacts, influencers, and industry stakeholders to secure press coverage and partnerships.
  • Create press materials, including press releases, media pitches, and story angles, to effectively communicate key brand messages and campaign launches.
  • Monitor, analyse and report on media coverage and PR metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of PR campaigns and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the wider marketing and product teams to align PR initiatives with overall brand strategy and messaging.
  • Manage budgets, supplier relationships, and manage PR agency partnerships across key markets.
  • Lead and mentor junior members of the PR team, providing support to foster professional growth and development.

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar PR and Events role.
  • Experience overseeing a PR strategy.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to act with pace.
  • Extremely well organised with the ability to juggle multiple streams of work.
