Commercial Manager Job Description

Futures is seeking a skilled Commercial Manager to join our team. As a Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in driving cost efficiencies, managing supplier performance, and ensuring that commercial agreements align with our organization's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple contracts, ensuring performance targets are met and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
  • Monitor supplier performance and handle contract variations to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve conflicts and ensure smooth contract delivery.
  • Conduct formal service reviews and manage supplier relationships to deliver mutual benefits.
  • Support procurement activities and ensure compliance with public sector procurement regulations.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in commercial management, including contract and supplier management, ideally within a multi-supplier IT environment.
  • Strong negotiation skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage complex contracts.
  • Budget management experience is essential.
  • Familiarity with public sector procurement processes, contract law, and performance management frameworks.
  • A degree or equivalent relevant experience is required. ITIL V4 or CIPS qualifications are desirable.
