Mechanical Design Engineer Apprentice

The Role
A Mechanical Design Engineer at ZipRecruiter designs innovative and progressive automation machinery, as part of a dynamic and growing design team. Working alongside engineers and other industry professionals, to conceptualise, develop and enhance these solutions, whilst also contributing to the evolution of our processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing automation machinery solutions.
- Collaborating with engineers and industry professionals to conceptualise and enhance solutions.
- Contributing to the evolution of our design processes.
Requirements:
- Mechanical design/engineering experience within the automation industry.
- A minimum of an HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline.
- Highly proficient in 3D CAD (Ideally Solidworks) with experience designing for manufacture.
- Previous experience using Solidworks PDM or similar would be advantageous.
