Early Years Leader Job Description

At Ultimate Activity, we're seeking an exceptional Early Years Leader to join our team and inspire children every day. As a key member of our camp team, you'll be responsible for delivering a fun and engaging programme for our Ultimate Juniors, ensuring their safety, well-being, and enjoyment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the delivery of a high-quality programme for the Ultimate Juniors, adhering to EYFS requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging sports, arts, and crafts activities, focusing on participation, development, and enjoyment.
  • Direct and support a small team of Early Years staff, promoting a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Ensure Ofsted requirements are met, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with parents and guardians.
  • Manage administrative duties, including sign-in/out, registration, and other tasks as required.
  • Liaise with the Camp Manager to promote the welfare of children in your care, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.
Requirements:
  • Educated to a minimum of Level 3 in Early Years/Childcare or Primary Education, with significant experience working with 4- and 5-year-olds.
  • Proven ability to deliver activities and adapt to dynamic situations, with excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Good working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and its application in a camp setting.
  • Excellent communicator, with great face-to-face customer service skills and the ability to interact with parents effectively.
  • A pro-active and conscientious team player, able to adapt to challenges on camp and maintain a positive attitude.
